FINISHED PLANT CHARACTERISTICS: Kris Krinkle™ is an easy poinsettia to grow and can be grown in a wide range of container sizes except trees. It is ideal for 6” or 61/2” production. It is adaptable to a wide range of growing conditions but cooler finishing temperatures will enhance the “krinkled” texture. Kris Krinkle™ has an approximate flower initiation date to that of Freedom™ and should be scheduled accordingly. Chemical growth regulator requirements are minimal for this cultivar but applications will also enhance the texture of the bracts. Kris Krinkle™ is responsive to A-Rest®, Bonzi®, Cycocel® and Sumagic®, or combinations of B-Nine® and Cycocel®, if treatments are required. CULTIVAR NOTES:

• · Kris Krinkle™ is sensitive to drying or rapid changes in light and temperature conditions, which may result in minor leaf curl, leaf burn and/or lower branch wilting.
• Maintain even soil moisture levels and avoid high soluble salts.
• Bracts are susceptible to sunburn if exposed to high light intensities at finish. Provide shade to prevent damage to mature bracts.
• Exotherm Termil® may bleach the color on expanded bracts. Discontinue use of this product during bract formation.
• Kris Krinkle™ is not recommended for tree production due to its susceptibility to splitting.
• Cooler finishing temperatures will enhance the “krinkled” texture of the bracts.
