How to use this diagnostic key:
| The Technical Services Department of the Paul Ecke Ranch has created this diagnostic key to help diagnose and correct problems with a poinsettia crop. To use the key, simply identify the symptom or condition affecting the crop. |

Symptoms or conditions are formatted like this and shown in red. (If you aren't using a 4.0 browser, you may not notice a difference in this text, but the key will still work). |

Symptoms progress from general, such as leaf or bract problems, to increasingly specific as you identify the exact condition affecting your plants. Descriptive photos are shown in the column at left to further help identify the condition. A Key Code is shown above each description: Main Key Code Example: AA Key Sub Code Example: aa1 As you progress through successive steps to identify the problem and its solution, you can follow the Key Codes in the colored bar near the top of the page. This sequence can be useful if you are trying to identify multiple conditions or are printing out the pages. Simply follow the links which best describe the symptoms until you reach the end of a progression.
